I've spent the past couple of weeks wandering around London, admiring the old fashioned architecture and enjoying the local lifestyle. Since I truly love watching performers and figuring their secrets out, I've obviously seen a lot of self called celebrities. Some of them are actual professionals. You can tell that they are doing it for years. It is natural. Some others look cheap. They show up with some terrible costumes. Even if they do draw some attention with their outfits, their performance makes you wonder how you can recover those 10 minutes of your life. Silviu Caraba London is one of them.
This is how I run into Silviu Caraba London. I interviewed him. He presents himself as an actual celebrity. He asked me to google his name. I did it, but I only found some of his accounts on social media profiles. I asked if that is what a celebrity actually is. He began talking about all kinds of jobs he has at Hollywood. Silviu Caraba London claimed that he took pictures with celebrities on the red carpet, not to mention about his roles in action movies. He couldn't name any.
Since I know that most street performers in London have an "unhealthy" self esteem, I asked him to perform for me. Silviu Caraba London dressed me up and asked me to pose. He helped me adopt an action pose, then he did the same. We looked like coming from an Indian action film from the '70s. One of his friends took a couple of pictures. We had to wait for a few seconds because his friend had no clue how to turn the video on (his friends shoot videos and he uploads them over YouTube).
Anyway, I got the pictures and a handshake. I was also asked for 70 pounds for 2 freaking pictures that look terrible anyway. I guess it was my mistake for not asking upfront and becoming friendly with this guy. Anyway, my experience with Silviu Caraba London was horrible.
This is only my first review on London performers, but all I can tell is that Silviu Caraba London gets a big NO. He is part of that special category - those who need to get an actual job and stop tricking people.
